This month, Year 1 have been busy continuing our topic of People Who Help Us—with a special focus on the Post Office! 📮
The children have loved exploring how letters and parcels make their way to their destinations. They’ve:
✅ Written letters to Santa
✅ Learned about addresses and envelopes
✅ Wrapped and weighed parcels
✅ Delivered their own “Christmas post”
Alongside this, our Year 1 area has been full of play-based learning all about Santa and his helpers, sparking lots of imagination, excitement and festive fun! 🎅✨ We’ve also enjoyed creating beautiful Christmas art and crafts, making the room look wonderfully seasonal.
It’s been a fantastic way to combine learning with creativity and celebration.
