Year 2 have been thoroughly enjoying their new topic, We’re Going on an Adventure, as they explore travel through our very own OIPS Travel Agent and International Airport. Today we officially opened the airport in a grand ceremony with Richard, our amazing caretaker and talented plane‑maker, cutting the ribbon. The children have been busy learning how to book a holiday, role‑playing real‑life travel experiences, and taking part in rich numeracy and literacy activities inspired by the world of airports and adventures. It has been a wonderful start to our journey.
