What a fantastic month we’ve had in Year 1! Throughout March, our little learners have been exploring the world of
caring for our pets. Our resource area was transformed into a bustling
Vets role-play area, where the children had so much fun looking after their furry friends. 🩺🐱
March was also
Integrated Education Month, with the theme
"Better Together." We dove into this through the stories of
The Rainbow Fish and
Elmer, learning all about what it means to be inclusive and celebrate our differences. 🐠🤝
Outside the children enjoyed dressing up and performing for an audience in our OIPS talent show area. The grown ups enjoyed the show too! 🎤🎶🪩🕺💃
To wrap up our topic and celebrate Integration Month, we held our very own
Elmer Day today! 🎈
- Everyone came to school dressed in their favourite colours.
- We got creative in the kitchen, decorating cupcakes with colourful icing and even mixing our own shades! 🧁🎨
What a lovely way to end Term 2. Well done, Year 1! We hope everyone has a wonderful Easter break. 🌟
