Intergenerational Dance Project ‘Here and Now’ 2022-2023

Our Primary 6 class, alongside Service users from Omagh Day Centre, and ‘Railway Court’ Apex housing, came together to create an Integrated/Intergenerational final piece of Choreography. The sessions were aimed at bringing all the groups together in an ‘Inclusive’ and ‘diverse’ way. The groups enjoyed creating bespoke dance sequences based on the theme ‘Living well-more tales to tell’. The dance movements were blended into one piece of final choreography and together the groups were integrated in a social and fun way. We would like to thank Carmel Garvey for giving our children (who are currently in Year 7) the opportunity to be involved in such a worthwhile project.
