KS2 Students Show Their Support for an Inspiring Cause 🏃♂️💙
Our Key Stage 2 pupils recently had the exciting opportunity to come together as a school community to support a truly inspiring fundraising challenge.
Students gathered with great enthusiasm to cheer on the FTD Brothers as they ran past our school as part of their incredible journey—completing 32 marathons across the 32 counties of Ireland. This remarkable challenge is raising both funds and awareness for dementia, a cause that resonated strongly with our pupils and staff.
Armed with cheers, applause and plenty of encouragement, our KS2 children created a fantastic atmosphere to motivate the runners along their route. Their energy and positivity made a real impact, demonstrating kindness, community spirit, and support for an important cause.
This special moment provided a valuable opportunity for students to learn about perseverance, compassion, and the power of working together to raise awareness. It was wonderful to see our pupils engaging so thoughtfully and celebrating the dedication of others.
We are incredibly proud of our KS2 students for the encouragement they showed—what a fantastic demonstration of teamwork and community spirit! 👏
