Year 5 enjoyed a visit from the Nerve Centre this week, where they took part in an engaging workshop exploring misinformation and disinformation online. The children learned about the importance of thinking critically about the information they see, particularly with the growing use of AI-generated images and content. They discussed ways to identify whether images and information are real or have been altered and why it is important to check sources before sharing information. As part of the workshop, pupils used Adobe Express to create informative posters showcasing their understanding and awareness of these important digital literacy skills.
