Nursery celebrated Children’s Mental Health Week recently through a range of activities.
On Monday we took part in ‘Break the Rules Day'.... nonuniform and crazy hair were our most popular broken rules in Nursery!
We used microphones during play and circle time to celebrate the theme for this year ‘My Voice Matters’.
We explored our feelings through puppets, role play and stories.
We used the puppet pebbles at the ‘feelings’ table to identify different feelings and emotions.
We also enjoyed our theme of 'Happy Healthy Hearts' exploring the importance of healthy eating and exercising. We investigated a range of healthy fruit and vegetables and enjoyed sampling some of the exotic fruits!
