Our Nursery children recently celebrated the importance of Road Safety Week through a planned road safety play theme.
We went on a Road Safety walk around the school grounds and played the role of the lollipop person. We received a special certificate for crossing the road safely.
Children enjoyed engaging in a range of play activities to develop their awareness on Road Safety through play. We painted traffic lights, zebra crossings, road signs and the lollipop lady/man. We also enjoyed our cookery activity making traffic light biscuits. We learnt some road safety songs and enjoyed listening to road safety stories.
