This week, Miss Curry’s Nursery class enjoyed their first Shared Education adventure of 2026 with our nursery partners, St Mary’s Killyclogher.
We were very excited to sit beside our new friends from St.Mary’s on the bus journey!
This month’s first adventure took us to Pomeroy Forest Park, where we explored the Nursery Rhyme/Fairy Tale–themed trail and discovered the forest in winter. The cold weather didn’t stop us from having fun as we explored the forest and enjoyed the winter scenery.
We sang nursery rhymes and enjoyed each attraction along the trail, identifying and recalling the different characters we discovered.
A huge thank you to Emmet and the lovely staff at Pomeroy Forest Park for accommodating us so well throughout our visit. We look forward visiting Pomeroy Forest again next term!
