Nursery FT Class - Exploring Play in November 2025
November Learning in Nursery
This month our Nursery children have been busy learning through play with exciting themed enhancements that sparked curiosity and creativity!
✨ Road Safety – We practiced crossing safely during a walk around the school grounds, learned about traffic signs, and even made traffic light biscuits! The children also enjoyed painting traffic lights using different media, exploring colors and shapes creatively.
👩🚒 People Who Help Us – The highlight was meeting real-life firefighters and exploring a fire engine! We discovered the tools they use and learned how they keep our community safe. Our role play area turned into a hospital, where children acted as doctors and nurses, caring for patients and learning about helping others.
🌙 Day and Night – Through stories, sensory activities and creative play, we explored what happens during the day and at night, noticing changes in light and routines.
🎉 Special Celebrations – We also celebrated Anti-Bullying Week by wearing odd socks to show that everyone is unique and special. We joined in the fun for Children in Need with a non-uniform day, helping raise awareness and support for a great cause!
It's been a month of full of hands-on experiences that connected our learning to the world around us!
