Nursery (Full-Time Class) Shared Education Outing April 2026
Our Shared Education adventures continued last week as Miss Curry’s Nursery class enjoyed a sunshine‑filled visit to Pomeroy Forest with our partner setting, St. Mary’s Nursery Killyclogher. It was a fantastic day full of fun, friendship, and exploration.
This marked our second visit to Pomeroy Forest, giving the children a valuable opportunity to further strengthen friendships, explore the woodland in a new season and enjoy discovering the fairy‑tale trail and charming wooden nursery rhyme characters along the way.
The outing also highlighted the importance of inclusion, as all children learned, played and explored together in a supportive and relaxed environment. There were many memorable highlights throughout the day, including the excitement of reaching new heights as the children made full use of the climbing apparatus at the Pomeroy Castle attraction.
The group also thoroughly enjoyed travelling together by bus, sharing snack time and lunch with friends and making the most of outdoor play in the beautiful April sunshine.
It was truly a joyful and memorable experience for everyone involved!
