Nursery children recently enjoyed an end of term Outing to Gortin Glens. Children all brought their teddy bears for a Picnic.
Our guide at Gortin Glens Lynn, brought us on the hungry caterpillar adventure. We found leaves that some caterpillars had munched on, we gathered natural materials to build a caterpillar, we pretended to be caterpillars in a cocoon and travelled through the tunnel bridge before escaping as butterflies and flutterring around the park.
We then went on a butterfly Hunt to find pictures of different types of butterflies and even a real butterfly made an appearance! We were all very excited!!
After all all this excitement we then enjoyed our picnic at the Picnic tables with our favourite teddy bears and off course Coco came too.
