Nursery Rhyme Day in Year 1🕷️🐑🪣👑⭐️
In September the boys and girls in Mrs. Ritchie’s Year 1 class were very busy learning about all things Nursery Rhyme as part of their topic, ‘Story and Rhyme’. 📚To celebrate all their hard work learning about nursery rhymes, syllables and fairytales the boys and girls got to have their very first dress up day in school- Nursery Rhyme Day! 🕷️🐑👑 🪣Have a look at all the photos to see some of the fun things they got up to.🤩
⭐️They dressed up as their favourite Nursery Rhyme Chatacter.
⭐️They listened to the story book, ‘The Enormous Watermelon’ and then tasted some of Mother Hubbard’s enormous watermelon. For some it was their very first taste!🍉
⭐️They made and then enjoyed eating Baa Baa Black Sheep treats.
