OIPS Carol Service 2025
23rd Dec 2025
✨ OIPS Carol Service 2025 ✨
Last night we came together in St. Columba’s Church for a truly beautiful OIPS Carol Service. Through song, music, scripture and prayer, our school community shared a special evening filled with joy, reflection and togetherness.
Our senior and junior choirs, instrumentalists and readers were outstanding. Every child played their part with confidence and heart, and we could not be prouder of them.
December’s OIPS value of the month is Community, and last night brought that value to life. Families, staff, parish and pupils gathered for our Carol Service as we journeyed together through Advent, reflecting on the true meaning of Christmas. We were also proud to support Air Ambulance Northern Ireland through our fundraising. The atmosphere in the church - full of warmth and togetherness - made the evening truly special.
It was no easy task to capture such a meaningful evening in just one video, but we hope these short snippets give you a glimpse of the magic of the night and the talent of our amazing pupils.
Today, we were also meant to be performing some of these beautiful pieces at Omagh Hospital & Primary Care Complex for patients, visitors and staff. With a lot of sickness circulating at present, we felt it was the wisest and most caring decision to share this performance in another way - allowing us to still spread Christmas cheer while keeping everyone safe.
A heartfelt thank you to all the staff who worked behind the scenes to prepare the children, to St Columba’s and to everyone who joined us last night. Most of all, thank you to our brilliant pupils - your hard work and enthusiasm brought so much joy to such a special night.
