On Tuesday 13th September, Year Five had a brilliant time celebrating the life and work of Roald Dahl. Our pupils looked great, as they dressed up as characters from many of Roald Dahl's books. The day was enhanced further by the presence of Miss Pauline Armstrong from Omagh Library. Classroom assistant Mrs. O'Hagan utilised her excellent baking skills to produce several delicious and mouth watering cakes that Mr. Willy Wonka himself would have been proud of! The day finished with pupils joining in on a live web-cast directly from the publishers Puffin, with the illustrator of Roald Dahl's books, Quentin Blake. All in all it was a wonderful day of fun learning which was enjoyed by all. Well done to Miss Eccles and Mrs Waring for organising the fun filled event.
