Wednesday was an exciting day when the Sam Maguire trophy won by the Tyrone Senior Team for the All Ireland Championship 2021 visited our school. All the pupils got to meet one of the players Cathal McShane, and the custodian of the cup - Cuthbert Donnelly, as well as seeing the actual trophy itself. We had photos taken and time to ask Cuthbert some questions about the historical game.
Thanks to Cathal, Cuthbert and the GAA for letting us experience this amazing piece of history and sporting excellence.
