☘️St.Patrick’s Day Assembly ☘️

Today the whole school came together to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day. Year 6 led the assembly by retelling the story of Saint Patrick through a PowerPoint presentation. This was then followed by Year 4 and 4/5 reciting the prayer ‘St.Patrick’s Breastplate’ using actions to portray the meaning of this special prayer. We had a variety of Irish dancers who enjoyed showing off their skill and talent and Year 2 displayed their beautiful art work which was produced during play this week. We finished our assembly with everyone singing ‘Hail Glorious Saint Patrick’. We hope all our school community enjoy the long weekend and we look forward to seeing our pupils return to school on Monday 20th March. ☘️
