Year 4 visit Enniskillen Castle
Our Year 4 pupils recently enjoyed an exciting and educational visit to the World War II Exhibition at Enniskillen Castle.
The children were fascinated as they stepped back in time to learn about life during the war. They had the opportunity to sit inside an Anderson shelter, explore a recreated wartime shop, and examine books, food and everyday items that people would have used during World War II.
One of the highlights of the visit was learning about the different military ranks and trying on replica uniforms. The children were also interested in seeing the equipment and weapons used during the war and hearing stories about the experiences of those who lived through this important period in history.
It was a wonderful hands-on learning experience that brought our World War II topic to life and helped the children develop a deeper understanding of the past.
A big thank you to the staff at Enniskillen Castle for making our visit so enjoyable and informative!
