Year 6 have been busy raising awareness of bullying of children and young people in schools and elsewhere and to highlight ways of preventing and responding to it. We kicked started Anti-Bullying week by wearing odd socks to school on Monday 14th November. During the week we also explored different types of bullying and carried out a survey to find out which type of bullying Year 6 think is most cruel. We used our ICT skills to transfer this information into a bar graph using Just2easy. We finished off our week by designing our very own Anti-Bullying poster, with a big focus on this year’s theme ‘Reach out!’
