Some of our Year 7s had a fantastic time taking part in a hands‑on den‑building challenge this week! Using bamboo sticks, tarps, pegs and a variety of other equipment, the groups worked collaboratively to design and construct their very own dens.
They showed excellent teamwork, communicating ideas clearly and supporting one another as they planned their structures. They also demonstrated impressive problem‑solving skills, adapting their designs, experimenting with different materials and finding creative solutions to make their dens sturdy and comfortable.
After all their hard work, the pupils enjoyed relaxing inside their completed dens, taking some time to read in the sunshine and appreciate the shelters they had created together.
